The purpose of this contract is the cleaning of municipal offices and the supply and replacement of hygienic-sanitary containers (gel, toilet paper, hand paper, etc.) in municipal buildings, educational centers and sports facilities.
Tomorrow, Friday, April 12, the Local Government Board of the Torrevieja City Council will approve the tender for the contract for the Real Estate Cleaning Service and its other responsibilities, the purpose of which is the cleaning of municipal offices and the supply and replacement of containers. hygienic-sanitary (gel, toilet paper, hand paper, etc.) of municipal buildings, educational centers and sports facilities, allowing people to use all these facilities satisfactorily, and at the same time guaranteeing hygienic conditions while respecting the environment.
Likewise, all interior spaces of municipal buildings must be included in the new cleaning service, all envelopes (roofs, facades, glazing, glass, fences, bars, railings, handrails, slats, blinds, etc.), all furniture elements, as well as all outdoor spaces (patios and urbanizations, sports courts and perimeter fences) and the cleaning of green areas, gardens and tree pits.
Furthermore, the management of all waste generated in the properties up to the collection points is included in the specifications.
The duration of the contract will be 5 years and its annual price amounts to 3,784,148.65 euros (VAT included), so the total for the 5-year contract will be 18,920,743.26 euros.
ABSORPTION OF THE WORKFORCE BY THE AWARDED COMPANY
The winning company must take over the personnel currently working, being obliged to take over, for the purposes of seniority and economic rights, from the date of implementation of the service. Likewise, the professional category and salaries of the personnel currently assigned to the service may not be reduced or modified, in accordance with the rights currently in force and, at a minimum, in the working conditions they have with the company that currently provides the service.
Finally, the facilities included in this contract amount to 80 municipal offices, with an estimated surface area of approximately 180,049 m² built, and the minimum number of hours to be carried out for the cleaning service is broken down by annual fee, which must be at least of 213,468 hours/year.
