RedIA Call for Proposals to Promote High-Impact Strategic Technologies in Productive Sectors

Support for companies that want to promote initiatives in artificial intelligence, robotics, cybersecurity, big data, or the Internet of Things, among other key technologies.

Red.es takes a new step in its commitment to digital transformation with RedIA, a €130 million grant to fund research and development projects in emerging technologies with a significant impact on production chains.

Purpose of the Aid

The grants are aimed at business initiatives that focus on the experimental development of new products, processes, or services, or the substantial improvement of existing ones. To achieve this, projects must incorporate prototypes, pilot tests, or technological validations as part of their implementation.

Strategic Technologies Considered

Among the technologies considered strategic are artificial intelligence , robotics , navigation systems, space technologies , cybersecurity , advanced materials , smart sensors , and the Internet of Things . Companies must define both the technology used and the scope of application, which may belong to any economic sector, except healthcare, which is expressly excluded from this call.

Beneficiaries of the Aid

Companies with tax domicile in Spain are eligible to participate in this call. They will submit up to three projects, of which a maximum of two per entity will be funded. The budget allocated for each project ranges from a minimum of €400,000 to a maximum of €5 million , and the grant will cover between 25% and 60% of the total amount. Furthermore, it will be necessary to demonstrate that the initiatives have a real incentive effect, meaning that they could not be developed or would be developed only to a limited extent without this public support.

The application period for this call will remain open until September 30, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.
