PRTR_Grants for Innovation Projects that promote the integration of digital enabling technologies in SMEs
Object and Conditions
Capital grants, to be granted by the Regional Ministry of Innovation, Industry, Trade and Tourism for investment in the implementation of technological, sustainable, social and smart innovation projects, which promote the integration of digital enabling technologies in SMEs included in the definition contained in Annex I of Commission Regulation (EU) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain categories of aid compatible with the internal market in application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJEU No 187, of 26.06.2014) (General Block Exemption Regulation or GBER), whose registered office or production establishment is located within the territorial scope of the Valencian Community
Eligible Projects
Projects must enable the applicant SME, company, or self-employed individual to implement innovative solutions through digital enabling technologies, in relation to the following eligible areas:
– Cybersecurity: Investments in software and hardware to protect infrastructure, implementation of security management systems.
– Cloud Computing: Migration of data and systems to the cloud, contracting of storage and data management services.
– Digitalization and automation: Implementation of ERP/CRM solutions, automation of production and administrative processes, and integration of blockchain into processes.
– Industry 4.0: Adoption of IoT technologies, data analytics, artificial intelligence, 5G and advanced connectivity, robotics, agent design, and machine learning for process optimization.
– E-commerce and digital marketing: Development or improvement of e-commerce platforms, integration of behavioral analysis tools and digital marketing strategies, as well as process automation.
For each of these topics, investments in hardware, software, or license acquisition, along with one of the following items, will be eligible:
1. Needs assessment: Evaluation of the company's current situation in the area of interest.
2. Implementation: Development of a customized adaptation plan for each beneficiary company.
3. Training plan: Definition and delivery of training for the beneficiary's staff with the aim of implementing good practices in the use of technologies.
Up to one year's subscription to software licenses may be financed.
Characteristics and amount of aid
The aid will consist of a subsidy of up to 100% of the eligible project costs, with the percentage to be allocated specified for each call.
Eligible costs will be supported by clear, specific and up-to-date documentary evidence.
Each call for proposals must establish the maximum grant that can be awarded to each individual project, to cooperative projects, and the maximum aid amount per beneficiary.
The amount of the subsidies may in no case be such that, either in isolation or in conjunction with other subsidies, aid, income, or resources, it exceeds the cost of the subsidized activity.
