The terms and conditions for the "Torrevieja Athletes Scholarships 2026" have been published and applications are now open.

The Torrevieja City Council reports the publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante (BOP No. 206) of the extract of the call for subsidies intended for the granting of the "Torrevieja Athletes Scholarships Exercise 2026" .

This aid program, promoted by the City Council with a total budget of 65,000 euros , aims to encourage high-performance sports practice, facilitate the training of local athletes and promote their continued participation in local sports clubs.

Summary of the call for applications

• Beneficiaries: Non-professional athletes (children's, cadet, youth, junior and senior categories) linked to sports entities based in Torrevieja or registered in the city who meet the residency, age and merit requirements set out in the rules.

• Application period: From tomorrow, October 30, 2026 , for a period of 10 business days .

• Executable/evaluable period: Sporting achievements obtained during the 2025/2026 season or 2026 year (from September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026).

• Submission: Applications will be formalized electronically in accordance with the procedure enabled on the municipal Electronic Headquarters.
