The University of Alicante and the Torrevieja City Council sign the agreement to renew the UA headquarters in the town on its tenth anniversary
Following the signing of the agreement, the university rector and the mayor presented the new "Master's Degree in Continuing Education in Management and Administration of Urban Public Services," which will begin during the 2026/2027 academic year and will carry out fieldwork in Torrevieja.

The coronation gala for the Queen of the La Mata Festival 2026, Carlota Sánchez Perelló, will be held on Saturday, August 1st, at 9:00 PM, and will feature performances by Diego Martín and El Número Uno. City Council and UMH finalize the launch of academic activity at the new University Headquarters in Torrevieja
The implementation of the Bachelor's Degree in Business and Tourism Management, the creation of the Habanera Chair, and the development of university-specific degrees and micro-credentials were the focus of the meeting. The new headquarters, shared by the UMH, the University of Alicante, and the UNED, will have capacity for more than 430 students and will open its doors at the beginning of September.

The agreement, signed this morning by Mayor Eduardo Dolón and the president of the Valencian Community Audiovisual Corporation, Román Ceballos, will help broaden the reach of the city's main cultural event. More than 700 choir members from 13 countries will participate in the competition, which will take place from July 19 to 25, and whose closing gala can be seen on À Punt on Sunday, July 26.

The tender has a budget of 67,425.96 euros (VAT included) and will allow the CEIP Acequión school to be connected to the pedestrian and cycling path that links La Veleta with the neighborhoods of San Roque and Acequión.
