Currently, Torrevieja boasts 67 companies with the SICTED certification and a total of 103 participating in the program. The City Council is promoting this strategic action to improve urban mobility and reduce traffic pressure in the city center. The estimated timeframe for the execution of the works, signage and comprehensive adaptation of the spaces will be five months, developing simultaneously on the different plots.

The center, developed in conjunction with AFA Torrevieja, will be located in Sector 25, opposite the Quirón Hospital, and will have more than 2,700 m² of built space. The center's design is based on a comprehensive care model, with modern, safe facilities designed to promote stimulation, autonomy, and well-being for users at all stages of the disease.

Author Estela Moreno will present the story “Pepuka and the Monster Who Stole Her Smile” at the Carmen Jalón Municipal Library, with two free sessions.

David Fernández –el Chikilicuatre– and Carlos Chamarro also arrive at the Municipal Theater on Saturday, May 23, with the comedy “Mitad y Mitad” (Half and Half). On Sunday, May 24, Imanol Arias and María Barranco star in “Mejor no decirlo” (Better Not to Say It) at the Municipal Theater, one of the great theatrical comedies of the season, with a few remaining tickets available.
