ABOUT THE MUSICAL  

Twenty-five years after its London premiere, MAMMA MIA! remains one of the biggest theatrical phenomena ever seen. Translated into more than 15 languages and acclaimed by over 70 million viewers worldwide, it was also adapted into a film, becoming one of the highest-grossing films of all time.

In Spain, the musical has also been a resounding success since its premiere in 2004, with the first production seen by more than 2 million spectators during its more than 2,000 performances. After 20 years of triumph in its three different productions, MAMMA MIA! has become the longest-running musical in Spanish history.

The story of MAMMA MIA! is about Donna, a single, independent mother who runs a small hotel on an idyllic Greek island.

She has raised her daughter Sophie, who is getting married soon, on her own. Without anyone noticing, Sophie reads her mother's diary and stumbles upon three lovers: three possible fathers! To put an end to her uncertainty, she decides to invite them to the wedding.

Chaos is guaranteed when Donna's best and oldest friends show up. These reunions make us laugh and thrill in equal measure.

THE MUSIC
