The Torrevieja City Council, through the Department of Equality, calls for a photography contest whose objective is to promote equality between women and men, highlight the role of women , their struggle and progress achieved in the achievement of rights, for the benefit of an egalitarian society, promoting the social participation of the population of the municipality .

The presentation of works will begin on the day of publication of these bases on the municipal website and will end on February 20 of this year, 2024.

The Department of Promotion, Employment and Local Development of the Torrevieja City Council announces the thirteenth edition of the Torrevieja Young Entrepreneurs Awards 2023.
Given that one of the objectives of public administrations within their active employment policies is to promote and create an adequate framework for the creation of new companies while reducing unemployment rates, initiatives like this are absolutely necessary to encourage our young entrepreneurs

The announcement of the prizes has as specific objectives: to promote entrepreneurship among Torrevieja society; promote the cooperative and social economy; promote the social recognition of entrepreneurs; promote a positive image of the entrepreneur as a generator of wealth and employment; promote innovation as a competitive strategy of the company, as well as the creation of companies and services related to the tourism sector, local commerce, new technologies, conservation and rehabilitation of buildings, environment, sports, leisure and free time; reward people with entrepreneurial initiative who have launched a new business; and provide support and support to entrepreneurs who have started their business, so that it serves as a stimulus for the creation of new companies and new jobs in the field of the economy of the municipality of Torrevieja.

The purpose of these Bases is to establish the rules that will govern the XIV COMPETITION "YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS AWARD 2023" , convened by the Hon. Torrevieja City Council through its Delegate Department of Public Works, Employment and Local Development under a competitive bidding regime.

The prizes and amounts included in the call are considerable. The following prizes and amounts are established:

• First prize: 7,000 euros
• Second prize: 3,500 euros
• Third prize: 1,500 euros.

Legally constituted natural or legal persons who meet the following requirements may participate in this contest:

In the case of natural persons (individual entrepreneur and entrepreneur of
limited liability):
- Be registered in the municipality of Torrevieja.
- Be a maximum of 35 years old as of September 18, 2023 (date on which the submission period for this contest ends).

In the case of for-profit legal persons:
- Have its fiscal and social domicile in the municipality of Torrevieja.
- At least half of the people who constitute it must be a maximum of 35 years old as of September 18, 2023 (date on which
the deadline for submitting to this contest ends), and these are the ones that are in possession of at least 51% of the company's share capital.

Projects may be submitted, understood as companies that are legally constituted between 09/01/2022 and 08/31/2023.

The period for submitting applications will open the day after the publication in the BOP of Alicante of the extract from the call for the "Young Entrepreneurs Award 2023" contest and will end on September 18, 2023.

The application for participation together with the rest of the documentation will be submitted electronically through the electronic headquarters of the Torrevieja City Council.

Object

The object of the Bases is to convene the prizes for academic excellence "Ciudad de Torrevieja", II Edition, of the students who have completed their studies leading to an official university degree, higher official artistic education title or professional training title of official higher degree in Spanish centers in the 2021/2022 academic year and meet the requirements established in this call.

The "Ciudad de Torrevieja" awards for academic excellence are intended to distinguish students who have efficiently and brilliantly completed their university degree studies, higher studies in artistic education or higher-level professional training with official recognition that at the same time it involves an economic assignment.

The purpose of the Bases is to convene the "Ciudad de Torrevieja" academic excellence awards for the students who finished in the 2021/2022 academic year, the cycles of Primary Education, ESO, Baccalaureate and Middle Grade FP, in a public center (or concerted) of the locality.

The purpose of the awards is to recognize those students who have stood out for their effort and excellence in their academic results in the stage of Primary Education, Compulsory Secondary Education, Bachelor's Degree, and Intermediate Vocational Training Cycle.

IV edition of the "TORREVIEJA MI CIUDAD" CITIZENSHIP AWARD

Announcement of the prizes for academic excellence "City of Torrevieja", I Edition, of students who have completed their studies leading to an official university degree, official higher degree of artistic education or official higher degree professional training degree in Spanish centers in the academic year 2020-2021 and meet the requirements established in this call.

Announcement of the prizes for academic excellence "City of Torrevieja" of the students of 6th year of Primary Education, 4th year of Compulsory Secondary Education, 2nd year of Bachiller, in any of its modalities, and 2nd course of Intermediate Professional Training who have completed said studies during the academic year 2020/2021 in a public (or concerted) educational center of the locality

First. Participants:

All small and medium-sized businesses will be able to participate, with at least one fixed commercial establishment, located in the municipality of Torrevieja, which adorns a shop window or facade with Christmas motifs.

Second. Aim:

With the announcement of this contest it is intended to favor the investments of Torrevieja merchants in the aesthetics and image of their shops, and therefore the improvement of the visual quality of them and of the city of Torrevieja during the Christmas season.

The prizes will consist of:

First prize of 1,000 Euros.

Second prize of 800 Euros.

Third prize 500 Euros.

Fifth. Application submission deadline

The deadline for submitting applications opens the day after the publication of the extract of the bases in the Official Gazette of the Province of this call for tenders. These bases will also be published on the notice board of the Torrevieja City Council electronic office and on the municipal website. It will end on December 13, 2021.

Applications will be presented in the General Registry of this City Council, or in the manner determined by art. 16 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.
