AID FOR YOUNG UNIVERSITY STUDENTS. 2024-2025 ACADEMIC YEAR.

Object:
The purpose of these Specific Bases is to govern the procedure for granting aid, on a competitive basis, to finance the current expenses of tuition, textbooks, and public transportation (bus and train) for the 2024/2025 academic year for those students who meet the conditions indicated in Base Five.

Requirements:
Any resident of Torrevieja who is 35 years of age or older and is currently enrolled in any of the Spanish university system's programs adapted to the European Higher Education Area, leading to official bachelor's degrees or equivalent, or official master's degrees, may apply for these grants.

The remaining requirements that beneficiaries must meet are established in the Fifth Base of the call.

Amount:
The maximum aid to be granted will be up to €1,500.

The indicated amount corresponds to the maximum amount that may be paid to the beneficiary upon proof of the expenses incurred. Under no circumstances may the amount of the grant exceed the amount of expenses justified by the beneficiaries.

Submission deadline:
The deadline for submitting grant applications is 10 business days from the date the application is opened. This deadline will open the day after the abstract for this call is published in the Alicante Official Gazette (BOP).

Place of presentation:
Applications must be submitted in person at the General Registry of Torrevieja City Council or electronically through the Torrevieja City Council's Electronic Office , in accordance with the right of individuals to interact with the administration in the manner they wish (electronic or paper format, according to their preferences).

Documentation to be submitted with the application:
The application must be accompanied by the documentation indicated in the Tenth Rule of the call.
