GRANTS FOR ENTITIES INTEGRATED INTO THE AREA OF CITIZEN PARTICIPATION FOR ACTIONS CARRIED OUT IN 2025 AND HEADQUARTERS MAINTENANCE. CALL FOR APPLICATIONS CORRESPONDING TO THE YEAR 2026.

The purpose of this call is to regulate the granting of subsidies, under a competitive bidding system, to finance projects and activities carried out during the past year 2025 by associations and entities that are registered in the Municipal Register of Associations and Other Citizen Entities of the Torrevieja City Council, within the scope of Citizen Participation, for the promotion of citizen participation and actions that foster coexistence and the integration of citizens in the socio-cultural life of the population, as well as to collaborate in the operating/maintenance expenses of said entities.

The specific objectives of this call for proposals are:

· To strengthen the social and neighborhood fabric of the city.

· To promote the revitalization of the city's collective life and the relationship between neighbors.

· To promote joint work between associations and between these and institutions and citizens.

· Promote integration and citizen participation at the local level.

· Promote actions that foster coexistence and the integration of citizens into the socio-cultural life of the population.

· To support the work carried out throughout the past year by associations and other entities in Torrevieja within the field of Citizen Participation.

The main purpose of this call is to strengthen and consolidate the associative movement by promoting the development of activities by different entities and citizen associations in order to encourage citizen participation.

The procedure for granting subsidies referred to in this call will be competitive, in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Strategic Plan for Subsidies and the General Ordinance Regulating the granting of Subsidies of this City Council, without prejudice to the provisions of the second paragraph of art. 55.1 RLGS.

The Associations and Entities that have carried out any of the activities or actions included in the purpose of this call and comply with the requirements established in Ordinal 4 of the specific bases of the call will be considered beneficiaries.

The maximum grant awarded per entity is €6,000 . Therefore, entities may not request a grant exceeding this amount, either solely for expenses directly related to carrying out actions and activities, or by adding to these expenses the costs of operating and maintaining their headquarters. If an amount exceeding the established limit is requested, the Technical Evaluation and Assessment Committee will consider the maximum amount requested to be that established in this Call for Proposals.

The application period will be twenty working days , starting from the date it opens. This period will open the day after the publication of the summary of this call for applications in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante.
