The Francisco Vallejos Choir began its long career in 1954 on the occasion of the First National Habaneras Contest of Torrevieja, currently of an international character, being its director and founder Francisco Vallejos Albentosa and since then participating out of competition. His musical activity takes place throughout the Spanish, European and Latin American geography. Since 1987, it has organized the “Ciudad de Torrevieja” International Choral Encounter, an artistic and international reference in recent years, with the participation of choirs from all over the world. In 2011 he participated in the XII edition of the Teruel Choral Encounter and in the II Choral Singing Festival "Ciudad de Soria". The Choir has been part of the Participatory Concerts of the Obra Social La Caixa, with the play El Mesías by Haendel in 2012 and 2015, held at the ADDA in Alicante. In 2013, she was invited by the Alicantina Tobacco Choir for the II Alicante City Choir Meeting, at the ADDA. In 2014 he was part of the 3rd Choral Encounter of Alhama de Murcia, as well as the Mass of the Greater Board of Brotherhoods of Holy Week in Orihuela, of international tourist interest.
Its director, Aníbal Cano Pettersen, carries out his musical studies at the Salesian Athenaeum of the Colegio Sagrado Corazón de Jesús from Asuncion, Paraguay). He also participates in specialization courses in Spain (1998), Italy (2001) and France (2003). Obtains the Title of Professional Piano Degree at Francisco Casanovas Professional Conservatory of Torrevieja and that of Orchestra Conducting at the Manuel Massotti Littel Superior Conservatory of Murcia.
