The Muelle de la Sal welcomes newcomers to this port that, with that name, commemorates those large sailboats that left for Cuba with the bottoms loaded with salt from its salt flats. The centuries-old tradition of sailing has been maintained in Torrevieja with a very active club that hosts regattas and organizes fishing competitions and exhibitions. All this, in complete facilities, which include a swimming pool and well-cared services. It has an approved sailing school in which to start learning dinghy sailing from the age of eight. It also offers introductory and advanced courses in the cruise mode.
