IMPLEMENTATION OF THE SEPARATE BIOD WASTE COLLECTION SYSTEM AGRESA 2023

Implementing separate collection systems for biowaste is one of the main challenges of current waste management policies. Proper separation of the organic fraction allows this waste to be used as a resource, facilitating its recovery through processes such as composting and reducing the amount of waste sent to landfills.

In this context, the Torrevieja City Council is promoting the AGRESA 2023 project with the aim of improving the municipal waste collection system and moving towards a more sustainable model based on the principles of the circular economy.
