IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECTS/PROGRAMS FINANCED WITH FUNDS FROM THE STATE PACT ON GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE FOR MUNICIPALITIES, ACTIONS CARRIED OUT BETWEEN JULY 1, 2024, AND JUNE 30, 2025

NAME OF EACH PROJECT/PROGRAM:

1. With a lot of self-love. Strategies for leadership and female empowerment.
Workshop for older women. The workshop lasted four and a half hours, divided into three one-and-a-half-hour sessions, and was held on Monday, November 18th, Wednesday, November 20th, and Thursday, November 21st.

It addressed an urgent social problem that is often forgotten by society: Gender Violence in a particularly invisible population: OLDER WOMEN.

The objectives of the workshop were:

• Raise awareness about how acquired gender roles and stereotypes limit development and empowerment.

• Increase awareness of the importance of being treated with respect, learning to set limits assertively and firmly.

• Strengthen personal skills such as self-esteem, confidence, security, personal motivation and self-leadership.

• Eliminate MariPili syndrome, imposter syndrome, overthinking, negative thoughts, and the vicious circle.

2. Screening of the documentary: "Patriarchy: The Harmful Organism."
It was screened on Monday, November 25th at 8:00 PM, open to the public at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center. The documentary addresses a social problem through the stories of four women, who share their reflections on their own experiences. They share their surprising perspective on gender-based violence, using force, without victimization or paternalism.

3. Diagnosis and internal equality plan of the City Council.
Final evaluation report on the City Council's Internal Equality Plan, as well as a situational assessment for the development of Torrevieja City Council's second internal equality plan.

4. Sex education sessions: “Talks-workshops on preventing the consequences of pornography consumption for young people and their families.”
60 hours of talks in schools that requested them and were tailored to their needs. And a 1-hour-and-a-half-minute talk for the general public, aimed at families and teachers.

The motivation for these sessions is that there is a clear relationship between consumption and violent practices, partly due to the sexist stereotypes conveyed in this type of content. One in three young people believe that this type of content can lead to the reproduction of violence in real-life sexual relationships, and 31% believe that it contributes to generating sexual fantasies in which violence is committed or received.
