The Municipal Institute of Culture "Joaquín Chapaprieta" reports that a total of 184,600 euros in subsidies for cultural activities have been delivered to the cultural associations of Torrevieja that have requested it and met all the requirements.

This amount has been distributed between nominative grants, with an amount of 160,000 euros and free competition grants, with a total of 24,600 euros.
The objective of these municipal grants promoted by the Torrevieja City Council is to help the cultural associations of our city to promote activities related to culture. For this, the amounts mentioned have been delivered in advance, prior to their corresponding justification once the granting of said subsidy has been approved. With this, it is intended that local cultural entities offer us all kinds of events and activities in our auditoriums and outside, and that this has an impact on the public, since these events will be free.
The 160,000 euros of nominative grants have been delivered to the following cultural entities:
-ARS AETHERIA
-MUSICAL UNION TORREVEJENSE
-MAJOR BOARD OF BROTHERS
-MUSIC BAND CITY OF TORREVIEJA "LOS SALEROSOS"
The 26,900 euros of free competitive competition grants have been distributed among:
CHILDREN OF THE IMMACULATE ASSOCIATION
-CASA ANDALUCÍA RAFAEL ALBERTI
-MUSICAL ASSOCIATION COSTA BLANCA MUSIC AND HARMONY
-RADIO AMATEUR CQ TORREVIEJA
