The mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, and the Councilor for Education, Ricardo Recuero, have presented this morning the Children's Bonus, which was recovered last year by the current government team of the Popular Party. The Children's Bonus is intended for children who attend the First Cycle of Children (0 to 3 years) in centers authorized by the Generalitat Valenciana.
The mayor has reported that the deadline for submitting applications will begin next week, once it has been published by the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP), which will be 20 business days. Applications can be made both electronically and in person at the Municipal Registry Office (PROP).
To qualify for these municipal grants, both the parents and the student must be registered. In the case of parents, they must be registered at least two years before the application, and must present a certificate from the center certifying that the child has been enrolled in the 2021/2022 academic year. Likewise, the children's center must issue a certificate stating whether the student is a beneficiary of other aid.
This call for the Child Bonus covers from September 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022, this call increasing coverage, which goes from 6 to 10 months. Coverage may be up to €90 / €75 / €60 per month during the ten months. Likewise, the per capita income will be €65,000 gross for the 2020 financial year, taking into account the per capita income of each of the members of the family unit.
Finally, the budget allocation for this 2022 edition of the Children's Bonus amounts to €90,657.
