Activities for the European Mobility Week

The councilor for Local Police, Security and Traffic of the City Council of Torrevieja, Federico Alarcón, accompanied by the Mayor of the Local Police, Alejandro Morer, and the officer Juan Antonio Valero, have presented at a press conference the activities that are going to be carried out with occasion of the European Mobility Week, which will take place on Saturday, September 17, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., in the Plaza de la Constitución.

On the agenda of scheduled events, an urban route stands out (on skates, bikes, rollerblades, on foot... starting at the Plaza de la Constitución, to continue through Ramón Gallud, Apolo, Caballero de Rodas and back to the Plaza de la Constitución .

During the day a series of workshops have been organized such as:

Bicycle workshop, your sustainable vehicle:

A workshop focused on the Bicycle to learn how to repair it and ride with it, to personalize it, with road safety circuits.

Participants will have to come with their own bicycle. Duration: 2 hours. Estimated attendees: 50 people.

Workshop “Create awareness”: painted some very cool t-shirts with the slogan “Move for cleaner air”, with 50 people being able to participate.

Duration: 2 hours.

Ghinkana workshop on pedestrian intervention: workshop on the training process of the pedestrian through play – Ghinkana regarding the city. Let's Play... On the move!
