The 34th choral meeting "Ciudad de Torrevieja" will be held at the Municipal Theater on September 22, 23 and 24

The Councilor for Culture, Antonio Quesada, together with the director of the Francisco Vallejos Choir (organizer of the event together with the Municipal Board of Habaneras), Belén Puente, and the president of the Choir, José Miguel Ferrández, presented on the morning of today the 34th International Choral Meeting "City of Torrevieja", which will be held again two years later due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19.

The Choral Encounter will be held at the Torrevieja Municipal Theater on September 22, 23 and 24, at 8:30 p.m. The Opening Gala will be on Thursday 22, with the participation of the Francisco Vallejos Choir and the Maestro Casanovas Choir.

On Friday, September 23, the Symphony Choir of the Torrevieja Municipal Choral School, the Ad Libitum Chamber Choir (Quart de Poblet) and the CAMtoras Chamber Choir (Madrid) will perform.

On Saturday, September 24, the Closing Gala will be held with the participation of Alterum Cor (Valladolid) and Camerata Lacunensis (La Laguna University).

That same Saturday, at the Palacio de la Música, at 11:00 a.m., the 19th “Ciudad de Torrevieja” Choral Forum will be held, where the members of the choirs will meet to share experiences, repertoires, working methods, etc. .
