Yesterday, Sunday, the "Torrerifico" festival was held, with 17 short films in competition and 3 winners


The Councilor for Youth of the City Council of Torrevieja, Domingo Paredes, reports that a total of 17 short films have been submitted to the fifth edition of the "Torrerifico" horror short film festival, organized jointly by the Department of Youth, the headquarters of the UA in Torrevieja and the La Comarca Youth Association.

The contest was held yesterday, Sunday, October 30, from 5:00 p.m., in the auditorium of the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center, with free admission until full capacity is reached.

The following 17 shorts that have been submitted to this V edition:

The winners of this 5th edition have been:


-1st prize: Tritop (jury), by Aria Antonia Martínez Tena, 1st prize for the best short film endowed with €1,000.

-2nd prize: Versos post Mortem (runner-up), by Nico Nargual, 2nd prize of the jury worth €500.

-3rd prize: Racord (public), by Salomé Alonso and Luis García, public prize worth €200.
