The ADL will give ten new free online courses aimed at unemployed registered in Torrevieja

The Councilor for Development and Employment, Domingo Paredes, reports that the Torrevieja City Council, through the Local Development Agency (ADL) and thanks to the agreement signed with AGAMED, is going to give ten new free online courses, which will be developed throughout throughout the first semester of this year, between the months of February and June 2023.

Domingo Paredes has indicated that, as in previous editions, these are training actions that respond to the needs detected in the city of Torrevieja and try to improve access to employment for its participants. These courses, which offer a total of 160 places, are aimed at unemployed registered in LABORA as a job seeker and who are registered in Torrevieja. In all courses the number of students will be 15, except in the food handler course, which can be 25.

The courses are the following:

-Initiation to video editing for creators of YouTube, Instagram, Tiktok… (from February 27 to March 10 – 50 hours).

-Maintenance of swimming pools in tourist accommodation 1st edition (from March 21 to 23 – 9 hours).

-Introduction to APP development (from April 13 to 24 – 50 hours).

-English course for commerce (from April 11 to May 4 – 60 hours).

-School canteen monitor (from April 24 to 27 – 8:00 p.m.).

-Sanitary hygiene (from May 8 to 10 – 3:00 p.m.).

-Food handler and allergen management – hospitality branch (two courses: March 20 and May 8 – 5 hours).

-Introduction to artificial intelligence programming (from April 18 to May 3 – 50 hours).

-Maintenance of swimming pools in tourist accommodation 2nd edition (from June 5 to 7 – 9 hours).

-English course for hospitality (from May 15 to June 2 – 60 hours).
