On May 10, 11 and 12, the acclaimed “Musical of the 80s & 90s” will arrive at the Municipal Theater of Torrevieja to take its spectators on a trip to the past full of memories and lots of fun. If you don't want to miss the opportunity to relive the golden years of music from the 80s and 90s, tickets will be available for sale starting today, Wednesday, April 3, at 6:00 p.m., at the Municipal Theater box office of Torrevieja and through the website www.culturatorrevieja.com.

The schedule of performances will be as follows: Friday, May 10, at 8:30 p.m., Saturday, May 11, at 5:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.; and the last performance will be on Sunday, May 12, at 6:00 p.m.

The piece fuses live music, dance and an exciting plot that transports the audience to an unforgettable time. With 12 talented singers and dancers, it tells the story of a reunion between high school friends after 25 years, at the opening of the “La Movida del Bacalao” bar.

The group will remember with nostalgia that time that marked their lives. Reality shows them that their lives have changed from what they expected (for some more than others), but deep down they remain the same. Everything, set to the rhythm of the biggest hits of the best Spanish and international pop and summer songs from the 80s and 90s that fit perfectly with the plot.

The show is presented by the company OnBeat and since its premiere in Madrid in the summer of 2019, it remains the first of its kind, supported by giant transparent LED screens and spectacular lighting, costumes and sound. It has captivated the capital for three seasons and has toured different cities in all corners of the country, from Cádiz to Menorca, Vitoria-Gasteiz and Alicante.

“The Musical of the 80s and 90s” lasts 2 and a half hours and features performances by Naim Thomas, Pedro Ordoñez, José Carlos Palao, Ione Díaz, Fran Caparrós, Marcos Horcajo, Ángeles Vela, Ariadna Figuero, Cristina López , Celeste Serine, Fátima Padial and Paula Cuesta; choreographed by Fátima Padial and directed by Antonio Martín Regueira, who also wrote the script.
