The general director of Tourism of the Valencian Community delivers the SICTED badges to 9 municipalities in the province

The general director of Tourism of the Valencian Community, José Manuel Camarero, has presented the SICTED badges to 9 municipalities in the province of Alicante in the Palmeral of Elche. It is worth remembering that the SICTED (Comprehensive System for Tourism Quality in Destinations) is a project to improve the quality of tourist destinations promoted by the Secretary of State for Tourism (SETUR), in which 260 destinations nationwide participate, 41 of them which are from the Valencian Community, representing 42% of the national territory and thus being the first autonomous community in number of distinguished.

Torrevieja, together with its Councilor for Tourism, Rosario Martínez Chazarra, attended this event with part of the destination's tourist services (Nautical Activities Torrevieja, Hotel Lloyd's Beach Club, Mar Time, Yacht Tek España, Restaurante La Mata "El Felisa" , Pura Vida Kiosk and Cai Salud Hearing Centers), which have been working on this quality project since 2012, renewing 35 tourist services and 10 acquiring it for the first time, all working towards Quality.

Among the nine destinations are Altea, Alcoy, Denia, Elche, Guardamar, Calpe, Orihuela, Villena and Torrevieja.
