The contract for cleaning, maintenance and repair services for toilets located on beaches and other areas of the Torrevieja coastline is now out to tender

The Councillor-Secretary of the Local Government Board (JGL) of the Torrevieja City Council, Federico Alarcón, reports that this morning the contracting file for the cleaning, maintenance and repair service of the fixed wooden toilets and self-cleaning toilets located on the beaches and in other coastal areas of our city was approved. The duration of the contract will be four years plus a possible one-year extension, with the base tender budget being 1,198,143 euros (VAT included).

The contract includes all work that must be carried out to carry out comprehensive maintenance of the elements and facilities strictly linked to the public toilets located on the beaches of Torrevieja, including masonry, plumbing, carpentry, painting, electricity, etc. In addition to an on-call service for emergencies and replacement in the event of serious damage or damage that causes danger related to the use and condition of the toilets.

This cleaning, maintenance and repair service for toilets on beaches and in other areas of the Torrevieja coastline will be carried out 365 days a year.

The list of toilets included in this contract is as follows:

-Cala Piteras, 1 unit

-Shipwrecked Beach, 2 units

-Playa del Cura, 1 unit

-Los Locos Beach, 1 unit

-Water Avenue, 1 unit

-Soria Avenue, 1 unit

-Avenue of the Europeans, 1 unit

Finally, Federico Alarcón has indicated that another toilet will be installed on Virgen del Carmen Street.
