The Department of Equality opens the application period to present candidates for the "Woman 2025" award

The Equality Department of the Torrevieja City Council, on the occasion of March 8, INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY, is calling for all people who wish to participate in the presentation of a candidacy for Woman 2025, being able to do so until next Tuesday, February 18.

The proposed candidates will be women linked to the municipality of Torrevieja, highlighting their personal and/or professional career and achievements and their presence in the social sphere of our city.

The Department of Equality requests that proposals be sent with the name of the female candidate, her contact telephone number and a description of her career justifying the presentation of the candidacy to the email address igualdad@torrevieja.eu .

The public is also invited to the Women's Gala, which will be held on Saturday, March 8, at 12:00 noon, in the auditorium of the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center in Torrevieja, with the participation of the Torrevieja Municipal School of Academic Dance.

Tickets can be collected at the Department of Social Welfare, Calle Torrevejenses Ausentes, nº39, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
