11 municipal workers have taken up their posts this week

The Mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, and the Councillor for Personnel and Internal Affairs, María José Ruiz, have attended the swearing-in of a total of 11 new municipal employees this week.

Specifically, three janitors have been appointed to the Sports Department due to the opening of new facilities, one janitor as reinforcement for the Education Department, one reinforcement janitor and one replacement labourer for the Department for the Elderly, one labourer who will carry out his work in the Municipal Cemetery to replace the incumbent, one administrative assistant for the Registration Area as a replacement, two administrative assistants for Heritage and one janitor assigned to the Culture Department.

The Councillor for Personnel and Internal Affairs has stressed that the Government team continues to cover as quickly as possible the absences or dismissals that occur in the Torrevieja Town Hall, in order not to lose staff and to continue providing a better service to citizens.

Finally, the mayor, Eduardo Dolón, welcomed the 11 new officials and encouraged them to work with great dedication to continue improving the quality of municipal services in Torrevieja.
