The mayor meets with officials from Telpark, the company awarded the contract for the new parking lot at the port of Torrevieja.

The Mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, along with the Councilor for Productive Sectors, Tourism, Commerce and Hospitality, Rosario Martínez, the Councilor for Openings and Activities, Federico Alarcón, and the Councilor for International Residents, Gitte Lund, held a meeting with the executives of the company Telpark, the successful bidder for the new parking lot at the port of Torrevieja. The meeting was attended by its Director of Operations, Luis Blanco, the Territorial Delegate for Off Street Telpark, Christian Muñoz, and the Territorial Delegate for On Street, Óscar Martin.

At the meeting, the City Council and the company coordinated the opening of the parking lot for next Wednesday, April 9, once the renovation work on the parking entrances and the existing roundabout is completed.

A MODERN, ACCESSIBLE AND EFFICIENT PARKING

Telpark's operations director informed the mayor and councilors of all the services that this new, modern parking lot will offer, with a fully accessible and efficient infrastructure, highlighting that, of the 640 spaces it has on a single floor, 18 are designated for electric charging, 18 for people with reduced mobility, and 2 for people with reduced mobility with electric charging.

In addition, to celebrate the opening, users will be able to enjoy Express Entry
with a 50% discount on the base price (€1.90) until May 8.
