The Torrevieja City Councillor for Culture, Antonio Quesada, the director of the Raúl Ferrández Municipal Theatre School, Matías Antón, together with the entire team that makes up the Joaquín Chapaprieta IMC, have the honour of presenting the first "SALpa Fuera" Street Theatre Cycle, where once a month we can enjoy an open-air show for the whole family. Laughter, circus, music, improvisation and much more are promised with this new initiative that encourages citizens to stroll and discover those beautiful spaces in the city for recreation, rest and delight during the months of May and June, as well as September, October and November.
Places like Juan Aparicio Promenade, the Parque de las Naciones, Siesta Park, and Encarnación Square, among others, will be transformed into improvised stages so that anyone who wants to have a fun and enjoyable time can do so in the best possible way.
The days will be: 05/03, 06/21, 09/13, 10/04, 11/08, all on Saturdays at 7:00 p.m.
The name of this cycle is: “SALpa Fuera” (SALpa Out), a name that represents the most precious mineral in Torrevieja, as well as the type of fish, the salpa, which fishermen usually “take out” of the nets when they catch it, returning it back to the sea.

Hoping that this initiative will catch on with the local public, so that it can have an annual continuity, since due to the good climate of our city you can enjoy this type of events all year round and fulfilling one of the electoral proposals of the current Government team presented in its program in the last elections, the IMC invites all citizens to come and enjoy the first show of the 1st Street Theater Cycle "SALpa Fuera" this Saturday, May 3, at 7:00 p.m., on Paseo Juan Aparicio, with the show GLUBS, where four crazy sailors appear apparently disoriented inland, and their only objective is to find a port to embark as soon as possible.
In this epic comedy, our sailors will fish, encounter sharks, encounter crazy parrots, and fight hilarious battles, dragging viewers through a cascade of crazy and absurd situations set against the seductive backdrop of the sea.
