The Europe Day 2025 Gala will be held next Friday, May 9th.

To commemorate Europe Day 2025, the Department of the Presidency, together with the Department of International Residents of the Torrevieja City Council, is organizing a special Gala at the International Auditorium. This Gala will feature performances by several local artists, such as Zhanel and the group Sincopa (all from Ukraine), who will delight us with Eurovision songs, and the Torrevieja Symphony Orchestra Ensemble, which will be in charge of the institutional part with the anthem of the European Union.

The Gala will conclude with the performance Siempre Disco Remember, featuring a medley of songs from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s.

The gala will be held this coming Friday, May 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the Torrevieja International Auditorium. Tickets are free with an invitation and can be reserved and downloaded from culturatorrevieja.com.

Torrevieja City Council will operate a free bus service from Faleria Street to the International Auditorium, departing at 6:30 p.m. and returning at the end of the event.

PETANCE TOURNAMENT “EUROPE DAY 2025”

Also on May 10, the "Europe Day 2025" Petanque tournament will take place from 9:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the Rocajuna residential courts. Several European teams will participate, made up of players based in Torrevieja and representing the following countries: Spain, the United Kingdom, Sweden, France, Belgium, and the rest of Europe. Spain, the tournament winner in the 2024 edition, will try to retain its title.
