Walk Torrevieja, an activity aimed at improving your physical and emotional health through moderate exercise and company.

The Torrevieja City Council's Departments of Public Health and Social Welfare will promote a healthy walking program throughout the municipality called Camina Torrevieja. The program aims to promote healthy lifestyle habits, encourage regular physical activity, and foster social relationships in a relaxed environment accessible to all abilities.
This activity is especially aimed at people over 18 years of age who use healthcare and social services. The outings will be guided by technical staff who will accompany the group, offering guidelines on health, hydration, mobility, and injury prevention.
Participation in Camina Torrevieja is completely free, although you must register in advance using the QR code on the poster or by calling the Public Health or Social Services Departments (tel. 607821039, 607314009).
The dates will be: May 28, June 18, September 24, and October 22, 2025, from 8:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. The meeting point will be at the entrance of the Department of Social Welfare, located at C/Torrevejenses Ausentes, 39. The first walk will take place along Vista Alegre Promenade.
The program will be carried out in collaboration with the municipality's health centers, which will be able to refer patients they consider likely to benefit from the activity, as well as through the Social Welfare referral professional, if applicable, or the SASEM service.
With this proposal, the City Council reaffirms its commitment to Xarxa Salud and Community Health, with ideas promoted at the Intersectoral Roundtable meetings, supporting preventive actions that improve the quality of life of its citizens in a sustainable and participatory manner.
