The Department of Coexistence and Integration is organizing meetings to inform about the latest developments in the new Immigration Law.

Following the entry into force last Tuesday, May 20, of the new Immigration Law, by Royal Decree 1155/2024 of November 19, the Department of Coexistence and Integration of the Torrevieja City Council, through the Migrant Assistance Office (PANGEA), will organize various meetings and talks over the coming weeks, in which the latest developments and, above all, the changes related to the Settlement Reports prepared by that municipal department will be reported.
The new regulation, which came into effect this May, includes five types of rootedness: family rootedness, social rootedness, socio-laboral rootedness, second-chance rootedness, and socio-educational rootedness.
The Councilor for Coexistence and Integration, Óscar Urtasun, indicates that any individual, association, or group interested in participating in these talks should send an email to pangea@torrevieja.eu, where they will be informed of the dates, times, and locations of the various meetings.
