The first introductory workshop on naval modeling for children was held.

Yesterday, Sunday, June 1st, the first Introductory Workshop on Naval Modeling for Children took place in the Parque de las Naciones. The workshop was held by the Torrevieja Naval Modeling Association in collaboration with the Joaquín Chapaprieta Municipal Institute of Culture.

The Councilor for Culture, Antonio Quesada, was present at the closing ceremony. He presented each student with a certificate of attendance and a commemorative souvenir, and they were also given the opportunity to take home the model they built during the workshop.

The workshop took place during the month of May and was attended by nearly 40 children of different nationalities and ages ranging from 8 to 14.

The goal of this first Naval Modeling Introductory Workshop was to promote and foster the hobby among young children, familiarizing them with the basic materials and tools used in modeling, developing their technical skills, and sparking their imaginations.
