A total of nine business proposals have reached the finals of the third edition of the Torrevieja Emprende program.

The third edition of the Torrevieja Emprende program, an initiative promoted by the Miguel Hernández University Science Park (PCUMH) in Elche and Torrevieja City Council, is coming to a close. Next Friday, June 20, the representatives of this year's nine finalist initiatives will present their business proposals to a jury composed of entrepreneurship experts, representatives of companies and institutions, and members of the UMH. The winners, who will be announced shortly, will share a cash prize of 4,500 euros.

The projects that have reached the finals of this third call are "Aura Baby," a brand that supports mothers during pregnancy and breastfeeding with practical, comfortable, and portable products, promoted by Thailin Giuliana Reina; "Humus Regenerative Strategies," a project dedicated to the regeneration of agroecosystems in southeastern Spain, promoted by Claudia Gallego; "Nissi Finance," the blockchain- based real estate asset tokenization initiative by Luis Lucena and Luisiana Mora; "Achavo," a proposal that seeks to showcase the creative talent of the Vega Baja region in fields such as photography and audiovisuals, promoted by Paola Murcia and Asunción Penalva; and "Vesty," a mobile app aimed at the fashion world, promoted by Pablo Gomáriz, Alberto García Ripoll, and Izhar Sanz.

Also, “Eat With Us” , a comprehensive web platform that optimizes order management in restaurants, driven by Selene Gisbert, Javier Bernaola, and Diego Bellido; “Deditos Barefoot,” a barefoot footwear company for children and adults, driven by Carmen Aparicio; “Circu,” a circular swimwear brand with a positive impact, promoted by Ángela Martí; and “Atar Cabos,” the online nautical academy, driven by Carolina González, José Hernández, and Daniel Velarde, which offers flexible and effective training.

Jury of experts

The jury responsible for evaluating the participating projects will be composed of Ricardo Recuero, Councilor for Education, Innovation, and Modernization of the Torrevieja City Council; Javier Sancho, Director of the Entrepreneurship Department of the UMH Science Park; Carlos Carmona, President of the Real Club Náutico de Torrevieja; and Álvaro Barrio, CEO of the security engineering company Toloal.

A total of 22 entrepreneurs with 15 business initiatives registered for this third edition of Torrevieja Emprende. In total, the three editions of Torrevieja Emprende have seen nearly 50 projects registered and 30 projects mentored. This program is part of Emprende UMH, an initiative of Miguel Hernández University, managed by its Science Park, which seeks to help the province's municipalities and public institutions in their commitment to entrepreneurship and business growth.
