Vehicles may park for a maximum of two hours, with parking controlled by the Local Police license plate reader. Outside of these hours, parking will be prohibited, and starting next Monday, July 7, anyone who fails to comply with the signs will be fined by the local police.
Torrevieja City Councillor for Police, Federico Alarcón, reports that as of today, regulated parking on Ramón Gallud Street will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a maximum of two hours of permitted parking. Parking will be monitored using the license plate reader provided by the Local Police. Federico Alarcón announces that starting next Monday, July 7, anyone who fails to comply with posted signs will be fined by Local Police officers outside of these hours.
This measure is intended to allow citizens to conduct business in the city center within this two-hour maximum timeframe, and if they exceed this timeframe, they will be fined.
