MAÑANA SE INAUGURA EN LA SALA VISTA ALEGRE LA EXPOSICIÓN PLASTIHISTORIA DEL DEPORTE
Torrevieja City Council's Culture Councilor, Antonio Quesada, and Sports Councilor, Diana Box, will inaugurate the exhibition "Plastihistoria del Deporte" (Plastic History of Sport) tomorrow, Friday, July 18, at 7:00 p.m. in the Vista Alegre Room. The exhibition features great sporting achievements recounted through stunning clay sculptures.

The exhibition, which will be open to the public until August 31, represents some of the greatest moments in history: the founding of the International Olympic Committee and the modern Olympic Games, the first Monte Carlo Rally, and the first Davis Cup. Also on display are athletes such as Carl Lewis, swimmer Mark Spitz, boxer Cassius Clay, and Paralympic judoka Carmen Herrera.

Plastihistoria del Deporte also pays homage to the history of sport in Spain, showcasing everything from the first Tour of Spain cycling race to the 2010 World Cup, won against the Netherlands in South Africa thanks to a goal by Andrés Iniesta.

This exhibition is an initiative of the Educa Foundation, a private, non-profit organization dedicated to education and learning, especially among children and young people.

A unique experience for the whole family!
