On Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th September, from 9:00 to 11:00 and from 11:30 to 13:30, two informative talks on the growing threat of cyberattacks will be given in the Multifunctional Hall (Plenary Session Room) of Torrevieja City Council.

The recipients are all citizens.

The aim is to raise awareness among attending citizens about the importance of cybersecurity. Recommendations, tips, and best practices for protecting themselves will be offered.

The content of each talk is independent of the other talks given within the #INCIBEemprende program, a program to boost the national cybersecurity industry.

You can attend one or both talks and in any order, without affecting effective access to the content.

This event is free for attendees. No prior registration is required. Admission is free until the Multifunctional Hall is full.

In order to facilitate attendance, both talks IV and V will be repeated, so that both on Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 September, the day will have the following structure:

First session: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Talk IV "Cybersecurity in your pocket: protect your smartphone"

He will cover the following topics: antivirus, two-factor authentication, password management, and secure shopping from a highly practical perspective, helping attendees ensure these tools are enabled on their devices by the end of the talk.

Second session: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Talk V "Protect your digital identity: privacy, reputation, and online footprint"

The goal is to raise awareness about the importance of managing our personal information online and to demonstrate concrete measures to preserve privacy, especially on social media and online services.
