Registration for the Municipal School of Pulse and Picking opens on September 22 for the 2025-2026 academic year.

The course will begin on September 30 at the Museo de la Habanera and will feature a teaching team specialized in guitar, bandurria and lute.

Torrevieja City Council's Culture Councilor, Antonio Quesada, announces that enrollment is now open for the 2025-2026 academic year at the Municipal Pulse and Pick School, which will begin on September 30th at the Habanera Museum.

Registration will be open from September 22nd to October 31st, with limited places. The single registration fee is 50 euros for the entire course.

Class schedules

  • Youth: Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • Adults: Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Teaching staff

The course will be taught by a team of renowned professionals:

  • Jorge Garres, guitar and lute teacher.
  • Miguel Sánchez, bandurria and guitar teacher.
  • Pedro Mañogil, bandurria teacher.
  • Adrián Vallejos, director and coordinator of the school.

Registration

Registration must be completed at the Habaneras Board of Trustees (C/ Patricio Pérez, No. 1). Once the registration form has been completed, payment must be made to account number ES94 0081 1461 1000 0100 4906, indicating the student's name in the subject line. Proof of payment must be submitted to complete the registration process.

The Municipal School of Pulse and Pick has bandurrias and lutes on loan for classes, in case students do not have these instruments.
