The 37th International Choral Meeting "City of Torrevieja" has been presented, which will take place on September 26 and 27 at the Municipal Theater.

This morning, the Councilor for Culture, Antonio Quesada, and the president of the Francisco Vallejos Choir, José Miguel Ferrández, presented the 37th International Choral Gathering "City of Torrevieja," which will be held on September 26 and 27 at the Municipal Theater, and in which around 130 choir members will participate.

The Opening Gala will take place on Friday, September 26, at 9:00 p.m., with the participation of the Francisco Vallejos Choir and the Cor Nomens de Valencia.

On Saturday, the event will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Municipal Theater with the 22nd Choral Forum, where choir members will gather to share working methods, experiences, and repertoires, as well as rehearse their shared choir. The Closing Gala, which will take place at 8:30 p.m., will feature the Bruckner Choir from Balecelona, the Legatto Choir from Mira (Portugal), and the Maynooth University Chamber Choir from Maynooth (Ireland). The Choral Gathering will conclude with a shared choir featuring all the participating choir members, who will perform the song "Thank You for the Music" by the legendary Swedish group ABBA.

Both the host choir and the Councilor for Culture have called on all music lovers, especially those of choral singing, so deeply rooted in Torrevieja, to attend this latest edition of the Choral Gathering.
