The 7th Tribute to the Elderly Photography Contest awards have been presented

The jury of the 7th TRIBUTE TO THE ELDERLY PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION, composed of Joaquín Carrión, Carmen García, Darío Pérez and Fernando Guardiola, has met and decided to award first prize to Benedicto Martín García's photograph "This is Love", second prize to María Isabel Juárez for her photograph "Only Three", and third prize to Roberto Stoop for his image "On the Beach". This year, the Enrique López Joga special prize went to Maritza Chacón for her photograph "Ceramics".

The theme of this seventh edition of the photography contest was "Stories that are inherited," a tribute to those moments when two generations—our elders and our young people or children—live together and share experiences in their daily lives.

Finally, the Councilor for Older Persons, Inmaculada Montesinos, announced that the awards for this seventh Photography Contest will be presented at the International Day of Older Persons Gala next Wednesday, October 1st, at 7:30 p.m. in the Torrevieja Municipal Theater.
