El sábado, 25 de octubre, la piscina del Palacio de los Deportes de Torrevieja será la sede del Open Promesas Mireia Belmonte

On Saturday, October 25th, the Torrevieja Sports City Indoor Pool will host the Mireia Belmonte Promises Open. This project, in collaboration with the Department of Sports, is aimed at new generations of swimmers and is the result of the close collaboration between Mireia Belmonte and Hyundai, for which she has been a brand ambassador for seven years.

The Open, named after the most illustrious female swimmer of all time, is a national competition that seeks to promote swimming among young people and thus identify the next stars of Spanish swimming.

The competition, comprised of four separate events, will be held in Spanish cities with a long swimming tradition: Madrid, Torrevieja, Bilbao, and Barcelona. It seeks to generate a positive impact on society by promoting fundamental values such as effort, self-improvement, and teamwork, as well as raising the profile of swimming and encouraging healthy habits.

All participants will compete in the 200m individual medley qualifiers. After the heats, the eight athletes with the best times will compete in the championship final.
