Next Sunday, October 26th, the "Torrerífico" short horror film festival will be held at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center.

This year there are 14 short films in competition and free admission until capacity is reached.

The prizes, worth 1,700 euros, will be distributed as follows: First prize of the jury, 1,000 euros, second prize of the jury, 50 euros, and public prize, 200 euros.

The Councilor for Youth, Domingo Paredes, announces that next Sunday, October 26th, starting at 5:00 p.m., at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center, the sixth edition of the Torrerífico short horror film festival will be held. It is organized by the Department of Youth, the La Comarca youth association, and the UA headquarters in Torrevieja. The festival is free of charge and subject to capacity.

The councilor reports that this year, a total of 31 short films were submitted from all over Spain, of which the jury selected 14 for screening and competition. The prizes, each worth 1,700 euros, will be distributed as follows: First Prize, 1,000 euros, Second Prize, 500 euros, and Audience Prize, 200 euros.

The evaluation committee is composed of Belén Cambronero Saiz as president, Luis Deltell Rodríguez, Sonia Pérez González, and Rebeca Westerveld Fernández as members, and Rubén Aniorte Rebollo as secretary.
