Special campaign for the maintenance and planting of flowers in the cemeteries of Torrevieja and La Mata on the occasion of All Saints' Day

The Torrevieja City Council, through its Parks and Gardens Department, has carried out a special maintenance and enhancement campaign at the municipal cemeteries of Torrevieja and La Mata in preparation for All Saints' Day. This initiative complements the work already undertaken by the Cemeteries Department, which has included painting and general beautification of both municipal cemeteries.

During the last few days, cleaning, clearing and conditioning work has been carried out in the garden areas, as well as the planting of seasonal flowers, mainly Chrysanthemums, which are traditionally associated with this festival.

The aim of this action is to ensure that cemeteries look their best during these days when funeral grounds receive the many people who come to pay tribute to their loved ones and participate in the various events that will take place.

The Parks and Gardens Department wishes to highlight the efforts of the maintenance and gardening teams who have worked intensively to ensure that both parks are in their best condition for the upcoming November 1st festivities, and during these busy days, thus reaffirming the municipal commitment to the care and conservation of public spaces.
