The Department of Equality and Women joins the events of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which is commemorated on November 25.
On Tuesday, November 25, at 12:00 noon, at the entrance of the City Hall, the local council will read the institutional declaration on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
That same Tuesday, at 7:00 p.m., in the auditorium of the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center, the play "My Third Act" will take place, a personal look in a humorous key, a tragicomic epic performed by the actress, performer and performing arts teacher Eguzki Zubia and produced by the company La Dinamika, directed by Aitor Basauri.
A personal narrative that blurs the lines between fiction and reality, between theater, dance, and performance, reflecting the performer's distinctive style. Her enthusiastic discourse is not without humorous commentary on a society that excludes older women from the workforce. She addresses prejudices and myths surrounding what is said to happen to us and what will happen to us during menopause.
