The city's cultural agenda will be packed in the coming days with six top-level events at the International Auditorium and the Municipal Theatre: the symphonic-electronic show DJ Symphonic & Royal Concert Orchestra, the now-traditional Flamenco Encounter “City of Torrevieja”, a new edition of Flamenco & Sal, the traditional Santa Cecilia concert by the UMT, the international production Harry On Ice, and the moving Tribute Gala to “Peperrín”.

DJ Symphonic & Royal Concert Orchestra

Tomorrow, Friday, November 21st, at 8:00 PM, the Torrevieja International Auditorium will experience an unforgettable night with DJ Symphonic & Royal Concert Orchestra, a musical format that is sweeping across Spain and has sold out tickets in Torrevieja weeks before its premiere.

The show offers an electrifying journey in which a symphony orchestra and a DJ join forces to reinterpret some of the most iconic pop-electronic anthems of the last twenty years. Coldplay, Avicii, David Guetta, Daft Punk, Swedish House Mafia, Darude, Tiësto, ABBA, Queen, and many more are part of a program carefully designed to thrill both classical music lovers and fans of contemporary electronic sounds.

The experience stands out for its energy, visual power, and ability to transform hits like Viva la Vida , Titanium , Don't You Worry Child, Bohemian Rhapsody , Sandstorm , and Flying Free into symphonic versions that move and thrill audiences. A meticulous stage production, immersive lighting design, and impeccable musical performance make this one of the most impactful shows of the season.

Due to the high demand for the show, a second performance has already been announced, scheduled for April 2026, and tickets are now available.

XIX Flamenco Meeting “City of Torrevieja”

That same Friday, at 8:00 p.m., the Municipal Theatre will host the nineteenth edition of the "City of Torrevieja" Flamenco Encounter, an event that has established itself as one of the leading venues for promoting traditional flamenco in the region. Organized by the Casa de Andalucía "Rafael Alberti," the encounter brings together some of the most outstanding singers, guitarists, and dancers on the national scene each year.

This edition will feature the prestigious Miguel de Tena, winner of the Lámpara Minera Award, one of the most important distinctions in flamenco internationally. Joining him will be the singer Rocío Martínez, known for her powerful interpretations and her ability to convey the soul of the purest flamenco, completing an evening where emotion is guaranteed.

The show will also feature renowned guitarists such as Juan Antonio Mateos, Domingo Muñoz “El Parra,” and Antonio Patrocinio, who will contribute the touch, technique, and sensitivity that characterize traditional flamenco. Fran Serrano and Blanca Herreros will present a powerful, precise, and expressive dance performance.

The "City of Torrevieja" Flamenco Meeting has been, for almost two decades, an essential event for lovers of flamenco art, a space where the essence of singing, dancing and guitar playing is celebrated as languages that remain alive and evolving generation after generation.

Flamenco & Sal – “Flamenco and Rhythm”

On Saturday, November 22nd, the gardens of the International Auditorium will once again be transformed into a unique setting for a new edition of Flamenco & Sal, an experience that blends music, gastronomy, and scenery alongside the Torrevieja Salt Flats. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and the show begins at 12:30 p.m.

This edition presents the show Flamenco y Compás , a young and vibrant production that combines contemporary choreography with the most traditional flamenco styles. On stage will be Abraham Chaskio on vocals, Juan Moreno on guitar, and dancers Martina “La Ibicenca” and Bella Martínez, who bring freshness, technique, and a renewed vision of contemporary flamenco.

In addition to the musical performance, attendees can enjoy a wine or cava tasting included with their ticket. A gastronomic area featuring Spanish products will also be available, along with an exclusive new offering: the Spain Tasting Box, available only by advance purchase for €15. The menu includes a montadito (small open-faced sandwich) with Iberian ham, olives, and potato chips, a selection of artisanal cheeses with fruit, mini Can Duran fuet sausages, and artisanal breadsticks.

Flamenco & Sal has become one of the most attractive morning experiences in the city, combining art, gastronomy and natural environment in a unique format on the Mediterranean coast.

UMT: Santa Cecilia Concert (Tribute to Casanovas)

On Sunday, November 23, at 12:00 noon, the Municipal Theatre will host the traditional Santa Cecilia concert of the Torrevieja Musical Union (UMT), one of the most emblematic events of the entity and which, as every year, has sold out its invitations in advance.

This concert is a special tribute to Maestro Francisco Casanovas, a key figure in Torrevieja's musical history, whose legacy continues to inspire generations of musicians. The event will also serve to officially introduce the band's new members, reinforcing the spirit of community and continuity that characterizes the UMT.

The group is one of Torrevieja's most beloved cultural institutions, and this concert is one of the most moving moments of its annual calendar. This year, it will also feature Torrevieja-born musician Armando Bernabéu as guest conductor.

Harry On Ice (4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.)

The International Auditorium will host an extraordinary event on Sunday, November 23, with two performances of Harry On Ice, an international production featuring artists from Cirque du Soleil. The 7:00 p.m. show is completely sold out, leaving only tickets available for the 4:00 p.m. performance.

This show blends contemporary circus, physical theatre, stage magic, humor, aerial acrobatics, and figure skating on an ice rink specially installed for the occasion. The narrative—inspired by J.K. Rowling's literary universe—guides the audience from Platform 9¾ to the halls of Hogwarts, passing through Quidditch matches, enchanted corridors, and culminating in a grand ball.

The immersive visual effects, original soundtrack, and meticulous lighting design make this show a truly captivating experience designed to amaze audiences of all ages. Harry On Ice is one of the most spectacular family shows of the season, promising a journey filled with wonder, fantasy, and excitement.

AFECÁNCER: Tribute Gala to “Peperrín”

On Sunday at 6:30 p.m., the Municipal Theatre will host a moving tribute gala to José Miguel Gómez del Olmo, affectionately known as “Peperrín,” organized by AFECÁNCER. Admission is by a €10 donation to support the association's work.

Peperrín, a much-loved figure in Torrevieja, stood out in murgas, chirigotas and in the world of habaneras, composed some of the most emblematic works of the Torrevieja repertoire ( El Puñadico de Sal , Lloran las Caracolas , No Soy Torreviejense , Magia , Gracias Mujer ) and founded groups such as Noray, La Alegría and the Hermandad del Rocío.

The gala will celebrate his life, his talent, his humor, and his deep connection to the cultural identity of Torrevieja. It will be a day of recognition and collective remembrance, where his legacy will be present through music, voices, and the affection of his people.
