The Local Governing Board awards a new surveillance and access control service to municipal facilities

The contract has been awarded to VIGIPROT SLU, for an annual amount of 118,433 euros (VAT included), with an initial duration of two years, with the possibility of a two-year extension.

The Local Governing Board (JGL) of the Torrevieja City Council has awarded the contract for security and access control services at municipal facilities and premises. The contract has been awarded to VIGIPROT SLU for an annual amount of €118,433 (VAT included) .

The contract will have an initial duration of two years , with the possibility of two additional one-year extensions , representing an investment of €473,732 over the next four years. During the provision of the service, the winning company will provide a series of improvements at no additional cost to the City Council , as outlined in its proposal:

-Creation of 200 additional hours of assistants and 200 additional hours of security guards to cover urgent, extraordinary needs or on weekends, holidays and nights, also remaining in case of extension of the contract.

- Supplementary training for three security guards in first aid , use of semi-automatic defibrillator (AED) and elevator rescue , ensuring that all personnel performing replacements have the same training.

-Installation, by the company, of two license plate reader cameras for the automatic opening of barriers, valued at approximately 1,500 euros each, which will become municipal property at the end of the contract.

-Availability of technological tools for real-time service control , with direct access for Local Police, including positioning of guards, digitized reports and analysis of performance indicators.

- Response to emergencies or urgent situations in less than 8 hours , providing security personnel when required by the City Council.

With this contract, the City Council is reinforcing security and access control in its municipal facilities, optimizing resources and promoting a modern, efficient service adapted to the needs of the citizens.
