The show follows Julia , who on her birthday receives a mysterious chest along with a map that will guide her in her search for the key that can open it. This journey will transport her to the Land of Emotions , where each character—Joy, Fear, Disgust, Anger, and Sadness—will teach her their usefulness, their purpose, and how to understand them in order to live a more balanced life.

With a duration of 75 minutes and tickets from €12 , The Upside Down World is a charming and fun show that combines adventure, emotional learning and entertainment for the whole family, making it an ideal plan to enjoy children's theatre in Torrevieja.

Barbie: The Musical

On Sunday, March 8th at 5:00 PM , the Torrevieja Municipal Theatre will host Barbie: The Musical , a family-friendly production touring nationally to transport audiences to the world of the most iconic doll of all time. This energetic and humorous show, designed for family enjoyment, features a dazzling stage production.

The show invites the audience to literally "enter" Barbie's world through a fun, dynamic, and rhythmic story, accompanied by spectacular choreography, a vibrant cast, and a visual design that combines physical scenery and video mapping. On stage, Barbie, Ken, and all their friends bring to life a musical journey that blends nostalgia, fantasy, and humor, making it a perfect outing for all ages.

With a cast led by Celia Roberts, Hilvin Urbina, Michi Vílchez, Marta Eslava, Miriam Tazi, Irene Mena, Sará Fernández and Leo Romero , and directed by Michi Vílchez , the production stands out for its artistic style, meticulous attention to detail, musical direction by Pachi García and a creative team that combines costumes, lighting and set design.

With tickets starting from €12 , Barbie: The Musical promises to become one of the most anticipated family shows of the season in Torrevieja.

David Dominguez

On Friday, May 29, 2026, at 8:30 p.m. , the Torrevieja International Auditorium will welcome David Domínguez with his comedy show The Weird Guy of the 90s , a monologue full of nostalgia, irony and mischievous humor about the "wonderful decade" of the nineties.

On stage, David revisits his personal experiences and the most recognizable situations of that era: urban tribes , the way of flirting before social media, unforgettable characters like Vicent , and a whole universe of anecdotes that connect with those who grew up in those years… and surprise those who did not live through them.

With over 15 years of experience in the world of comedy and having performed throughout Spain (Valencia, Madrid, Navarra, Alicante, Murcia, Malaga, Almeria, among many other cities), Dominguez presents in this show his best texts, worked on and tested over years, now brought together in a single show.

A perfect plan for stand-up comedy lovers and for anyone who wants to laugh, recognize themselves and travel back to the 90s with humor and good vibes.

The Invisible Magician

On Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. , the Municipal Theater will host the illusionist Dakris , known as The Invisible Magician , with his show Nothing is what it seems , a proposal that mixes magic, humor, mystery and constant interaction with the public.

The show includes teleportation, disappearances, mentalism, and illusions created with objects belonging to the audience members themselves , blurring the line between reality and imagination. Throughout the performance, the audience can participate both from their seats and directly on stage, becoming an essential part of the magic routines.

Dakris has established himself as one of the most outstanding magicians of the new generation of illusionists in Spain. Winner of prestigious national and international awards—including Magician of the Year 2012 and First National Magic Prize —he surprises with his innovative style, technical precision, and ability to transform each act into an immersive experience.

With tickets starting from €28 , Nothing Is What It Seems promises an afternoon where the impossible becomes commonplace and where each spectator leaves wondering if what they have seen... could have been real.
