Four cultural events fill the weekend before Christmas in Torrevieja

Lake: Freer than ever

On Friday, December 19, at 8:30 p.m., the Municipal Theater will welcome Miguel Lago with his show "More Free Than Ever," a proposal that transforms the stage into an authentic Comedy Club in the style of the great Broadway clubs.

After drawing over 50,000 spectators last season, Miguel Lago reopens the doors of his comedy club with a format that has revolutionized the classic one-man show. In each performance, the comedian demonstrates why he is one of the leading figures in stand-up comedy in Spain, opting for unfiltered, direct, and completely uninhibited humor.

On stage, the audience will enjoy new texts, never-before-seen routines, some of his most celebrated pieces , reflections on current events, and personal anecdotes, always with Lago's unmistakable sharp, intelligent, and provocative style. Jorge Luengo – Daydreams

On Saturday, December 20, at 7:00 p.m., the Municipal Theater will host “Daydreams”, the show by illusionist –winner of the World Magic Award– Jorge Luengo, designed exclusively for theaters and intended to showcase magic in its full splendor.

Daydreams is a spectacle of skill, ingenuity, and emotion , in which seemingly impossible effects are reproduced, defying the viewer's logic. Disappearances, transformations, unions, and surprising mind readings unfold on stage, creating an atmosphere where the inexplicable seems real and imagination takes center stage.

From the very first moment, Jorge Luengo establishes a strong connection with the audience, creating a relaxed and intimate atmosphere that invites them to surrender to their feelings and emotions. UMT: Christmas Concert

On Sunday, December 21st, at 12:00 noon, the Torrevieja International Auditorium will host the traditional Christmas Concert of the Torrevieja Musical Union, which this year presents Symphonic Gospel and has sold out all its tickets.

The program proposes a musical fusion in which the spiritual power of gospel blends with the rich sound of a large wind orchestra. For this special occasion, the UMT will be joined by the voices of the Barcelona Messengers and pianist Ramón Escalé, offering a concert full of energy, emotion, and Christmas spirit.

Finish Me Off Again

On Sunday, December 21, at 7:30 p.m., the Municipal Theater will close the weekend with the mystery comedy "Kill Me Again," a play that combines humor, intrigue, and a fast-paced rhythm that keeps the viewer in constant suspense.

The story begins when the charismatic explorer Cristóbal Salgado gathers several key people from his life at his mansion. In the middle of a dinner party and an unexpected power outage, a murder occurs, making everyone a suspect. The least likely person must play detective, with the most unexpected help.

The play boasts a top-notch cast , headed by Jesús Cabrero , known for his extensive career in theater, film and television ( Amar en tiempos revueltos , Sin tetas no hay paraíso , Hospital Central ), accompanied by Belinda Washington , one of the most popular actresses on the Spanish television and theater scene, Ángel Ruiz , actor, singer and presenter with a solid stage career, Juanjo Cucalón , with an extensive career in theater and successful series, and Roser Pujol , an actress of recognized prestige in the theater field.

Finish Me Off Again is a mystery comedy where nothing is as it seems and where even the dead man… might be the killer. An ideal choice to end the weekend with laughs, intrigue, and great performances.
