EL AYUNTAMIENTO ADJUDICA DOS ACTUACIONES PARA RENOVAR 540 PUNTOS DE LUZ CON LUMINARIAS LED EN LA CV-905 Y NUEVA TORREVIEJA

The Local Governing Board of the Torrevieja City Council has approved the awarding, through a simplified open procedure, of two actions aimed at improving the energy efficiency of public lighting, as reported by the Councillor for Public Lighting, Concha Sala.

The actions are divided into two lots and will allow the renewal of a total of 543 light points in different areas of the municipality, replacing the current luminaires with LED technology, which is more efficient and adapted to current criteria for energy saving and consumption control.

Both lots have been awarded to the company ILUMINACIONES FUTURAS DE LED, SL, with a total amount of 283,745.00 euros (VAT included) and an execution period of three months, which will begin counting from the signing of the Act of Commencement of the works.

NEW TORREVIEJA

Lot 2 corresponds to the replacement of outdoor lighting fixtures with new LED technology fixtures and the expansion of circuits in the Nueva Torrevieja neighborhood, an action that will allow the lighting network to be updated and its operation improved.

This lot had a starting bid budget of €281,288.72 and has been awarded for €165,770.00 (VAT included). As part of this project, 321 light fixtures will be replaced, and the project management will be handled by VIELCA INGENIEROS, SA.

CV-905 AND OTHER STREETS

Lot 1 is part of the project to adapt and improve the energy efficiency of the public lighting on the CV-905 road and other streets in the municipality of Torrevieja, one of the main access roads to the city.

In this case, the tender budget was €162,855.00, and the contract was awarded for a total of €117,975.00 (VAT included). The project involves the replacement of 222 light fixtures, and INURBE INGENIERÍA, SL will be responsible for the project management.

AN ACTION FOCUSED ON EFFICIENCY

The renewal of public lighting using LED technology will optimize energy consumption, improve the management of the lighting system and adapt the facilities to current standards, without altering the conditions of use of the public space.

Furthermore, the award includes, among other commitments, the implementation of a fully operational point-to-point remote management system, as well as extending the warranty of the luminaires by five years, which reinforces the durability and control of the installation.

With these actions, the Torrevieja City Council continues to develop projects to modernize municipal infrastructure, focused on improving public service and the efficiency of facilities.
