The Torrevieja City Council is finalizing the details for the annual welcome the city will offer to Their Majesties the Three Kings, helping them fulfill their mission of distributing all kinds of gifts, especially to children. The Councilor for Festivals, Rosario Martínez, reports that preparations have already begun for the Kings' visit in both Torrevieja and La Mata.

The royal pages and postmen will be in Torrevieja from tomorrow, Saturday, January 3rd, until January 4th, at the Virgen del Carmen Cultural Center. They will be there from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to collect letters from all the children. They will also be in La Mata on January 4th, at the entrance to the Nuestra Señora del Rosario Parish Church (Plaza Encarnación Puchol), from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The Royal Entourage accompanying the Three Wise Men will arrive by boat near the exterior of the Royal Yacht Club of Torrevieja. They are scheduled to dock at 5:00 PM, where they will be received by the Mayor of Torrevieja, Eduardo Dolón, and the Councilor for Festivals, Rosario Martínez.

The highly anticipated Three Kings Parade will begin on Paseo Vista Alegre near the Torrevieja Casino. From there, the Three Kings will board their floats and begin their procession through the city streets. The parade will feature a retinue of approximately 400 people and four floats: three for the Three Kings and one for the Star of Bethlehem, accompanied by a display of illuminated stars.

The parade will travel along Paseo Vista Alegre, then turn onto Clemente Gosálvez Street and from there onto Ramón Gallud Street, continuing to the intersection with Moriones Street. From there, it will proceed along Caballero de Rodas Street to the doors of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, where the adoration of the Christ Child will take place, attended by the Mayor of the city, Eduardo Dolón. At that time, King Melchior will also address the crowd.

Various performances will make up this Three Kings Parade, which will be led by the State Security Forces, followed by a post office to collect letters from those who haven't yet written. King Herod will be accompanied by a squad of Roman soldiers, followed by a group of Hebrews with donkeys who will distribute flags to welcome the Wise Men. Three marching bands will accompany Kings Melchior, Gaspar, and Balthazar.

As in every parade organized by the Department of Festivals, there will be an area specially designated for people with reduced physical, temporary or transient mobility, which will be located on Ramón Gallud Street, in front of number 77, in the vicinity of the corner with María Parodi Street.

Finally, the Three Kings will also arrive in La Mata, with the parade starting at 6:30 p.m. from Avenida de los Europeos and proceeding along Calle Mayor to the vicinity of the Virgen del Rosario Parish Church. Two floats will form part of the entourage of the Magi from the East.

The Councillor for Festivals, Rosario Martínez, has indicated that they are working on different options as a preventive measure in light of the forecast of adverse weather.
