Youth presents its Winter Youth Agenda for the first quarter of 2026
The Councillor for Youth of Torrevieja City Council, Domingo Paredes, announces that the Winter Youth Agenda of the Youth Department, corresponding to the first quarter of 2026, is now available. A total of 10 activities and events make up the youth program for the months of January, February and March.
Domingo Paredes has announced that following the success of last year, registration is now open for a new trip to Sierra Nevada for skiing and snowboarding on the weekend of March 6-8, at a price of €298 per person, all inclusive and on a full board basis, with limited places available.
Also noteworthy is the return of the Youth and Opportunities (JOOP) training program in collaboration with the Valencian Youth Institute (IVAJ), a coaching and guidance program for young people between 16 and 21 years old registered in the Youth Guarantee who are looking for training and employment options for their future.
The training activities section for the quarter includes an interesting podcast workshop, highly demanded among young people, especially for creating content on social networks, and an interesting training action for young people registered in the National Youth Guarantee System, with a professional certificate in customer service in tourist establishments, a profile highly demanded in our area and with good job placement.
In addition, collaboration continues with role-playing activities, board games and video games with the Torrevieja youth association on weekends at the CIAJ, English conversations with British volunteers and inclusive leisure outings for young people with functional diversity.
Also included are updates on the upcoming Comarcon 2026, with confirmed dates on April 11 and 12 at the Palacio de Deportes, and the new Big Sound festival, which will be held in Torrevieja in the summer, on July 25 and 26, with great national and international artists such as Myke Towers, María Becerra, Ana Mena, Omar Montes, Juan Magán or Leire Martínez, among others.
The Councillor for Youth reminds everyone that for more information about youth activities, those interested can visit the CIAJ (Youth Information and Assistance Center) in person or find out more through its social media channels, by phone at 965714072, via WhatsApp at 606055291, by email at juventud@torrevieja.eu , and on the municipal website www.torrevieja.es .
