The city of Torrevieja has started the year 2026 with a total of 110,500 registered inhabitants, which represents an increase of 4,150 people compared to the beginning of the previous year 2025, when it had 106,350 residents, according to official data from the Municipal Register of the Torrevieja City Council.
This growth confirms the sustained upward trend of the population of Torrevieja and consolidates the city as one of the main demographic centers of the Valencian Community.
As of Wednesday, January 7, 2026, the population of Torrevieja is distributed as follows: 54,548 men (49.36%) and 55,952 women (50.64%), maintaining a balance very similar to that recorded at the beginning of 2025, when the census reflected 48.93% men and 51.07% women. Compared to January 2025, there is a slight change in the national composition.
