The city of Torrevieja will celebrate on Sunday, January 18, at 6:00 p.m., in the International Auditorium, the “XXVI edition of the Sports Gala”, an event that has become established as the great annual tribute to the effort, perseverance and achievements of our athletes.

This edition will recognize the sporting merits of the 2025 season, with a total of 116 nominated athletes, 13 teams, plus 2 honorable mentions and 3 special mentions.

The Councillor for Sports, Diana Box Alonso, highlighted that the gala aims to be a meeting point for the entire local sports family, as well as a recognition of the work carried out daily by athletes, coaches, clubs, associations and collaborating entities.

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

• Best Overall Athlete (male and female)
• Best Athlete with Functional Diversity (male and female)
• Best Youth, Cadet, Children's and Junior Athlete (male and female)
• Best Technician
• Best Team
• Best Master Athlete (male and female)
• Best Sports Club or Association
• Entities Collaborating with Sport
• Best Promising Athlete of the Year
• Special Mentions
• Honorable Mentions

This gala will once again be the great "celebration of Torrevieja sport", which highlights not only the results, but also the commitment, values and effort of all those who are part of the Torrevieja sporting family.
